Archer Daniels Midland Increases Their Dividend by 8.1% in 2022 !!!

On January 25th, Archer Daniels Midland announced a dividend increase of 8.1%. This will increase their dividend per quarter from $0.37 to $0.40. It is payable on March 1st for shareholders of record on February 8th. The new quarterly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $1.60 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $1.48 per share.

I am currently holding 13.727 shares of Archer Daniels Midland stock in the More Dividends portfolio. With this 8.1% increase it will add an additional $1.65 to my projected annual dividend income and this doesn’t even take into account the compounding factor!
Current Stock Position
Archer Daniels Midland is a company that I bought several years ago. The price was good at the time when I started my position. Since then, the share price has pretty much remained above my cost basis since then so unfortunately I have not added any to the position since it was originally initiated.
I would love a good opportunity to add onto this position but the company’s dividend streak as well as their payout ratio seems to keep that share price high. I will continue to remain patient and keep collecting the dividend and reinvesting it back into more shares.
Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
