Realty Income Increases Their Dividend by 0.2% in 2022 !!!

Dividend Increase Announcement

On March 15th, Realty Income announced a dividend increase of 0.2%. This will increase their dividend per month from $0.2465 to $0.247. It is payable on April 15th for shareholders of record on April 1st. The new monthly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.964 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $2.958 per share.

Dividend Increase Effect

I am currently holding 37.266 shares of Realty Income stock in the More Dividends portfolio. With this 0.2% increase it will add an additional $0.23 to my projected annual dividend income and this doesn’t even take into account the compounding factor!

Current Stock Position

There is nothing that I can say about this company that hasn’t been said before. Great company which has consistently paid and increased their dividend. There is a good reason why they are known as The Monthly Dividend Company.

I love the company and intend to hold this position forever. Would love the opportunity to add to this position but I will just have to be patient and wait for the right buying opportunity.

Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
