Dividend Increase Effect
I am currently holding 11.901 shares of Exxon Mobil stock in the More Dividends portfolio. With this 1% increase it will add an additional $0.24 to my projected annual dividend income and this doesn’t even take into account the compounding factor! That brings the new grand total up to $2,324.96.

Current Stock Position
Emerson Electric has been in my portfolio for many years now. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to build a very big position before the share price rose above my cost basis.
I have been reaping the benefits of the dividend increases since I started this position but a few years ago I was getting very excited about the possiblity of them being bought out by Rockwell Automation. As history would teach us though, this would never actually come to fruition.
Despite that, I still love the company and look forward to seeing what the future holds for this Dividend King!
Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
Do you currently hold any stock in Emerson Electric? What do you think of this dividend increase? Just let me know in the comments.
As always I look forward to reading all of your comments and questions, until then….. happy investing!
