Recent Purchases from DGI Bloggers from Last Week
Last week the market reached new highs. It is not on a huge run but it has been slowly ticking up little by little.
I always tell people when the market is a little up and then a little down then I am ok with it. When I get worried is when it is breaking new highs everyday.
There was a lot of interesting purchases made last week. Most of the companies purchased are common but there was a couple that I have never heard of. One of the great things about doing these articles is that it not only allows me to see what other investors are buying but it also allows me to learn about new companies.
Let’s take a look and see what you the investors were buying last week!
Bristol-Meyers Squibb (BMY)
The Chemours Company (CC)
Carnival Corporation (CCL)
International Game Technology PLC (IGT)
Kroger (KR)
3M (MMM)
Altria Group (MO)
Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (PEB)
PetMed Express (PETS)
Ferrari N.V. (RACE)
Conclusion
Other than the 2 purchases made of 3M, the field was pretty spread out. Investors were finding a lot of good opportunities to add to their portfolios. Ironically enough I have been watching two of these companies and have been thinking about initiating a position in them.
Although I didn’t publish an article about it, I did actually start adding a couple of shares of Kroger to my position. As long as the share price is lower than my cost basis I plan on strengthening that position over time. Because I am not making a bigger purchase at one time I will probably tweet about it and mention it again in my Monthly Update for July.
