Not much excitement happened with my portfolio this month. I made a new addition. I had the normal market fluctuations. Plus I had my reinvested dividends. Other than that it was a pretty normal month. Let’s jump right in and see how my portfolio performed during the month of November.
During the month of November I did make the following new addition to the portfolio:
Cardinal Health (CAH) – 10 shares
This month provided me with a new 2nd month of the quarter high record. It’s not very much but I am glad to see the growth
Apple (APPL) – $1.49 – Reinvested
General Mills (GIS) – $8.77 – Reinvested
Hormel (HRL) – $2.25
Realty Income (O) – $5.90 – Reinvested
Omega Healthcare Investors (OHI) – $25.80 – Reinvested
Procter & Gamble (PG) – $5.06
STAG Industrial (STAG) – $1.30
AT&T (T) – $23.45 – Reinvested
WestRock (WRK) – $6.81 – Reinvested
November was the second month of Q4 and accounted for $80.83 of my 2018 Dividend Income.
In total during 2018, I have earned $618.48 in dividend income!
That is 62% of my 2018 goal.
So far my dividends received looks like this
Dividends Received By Year
Year over year, I saw a 93.5% increase in dividends earned during the month of November. I was very surprised to see this large of growth but I am loving it. I guess I should have expected it with the addition of the larger AT&T position. Hopefully I will be able to continue to produce this kind of growth during the second month of the quarter.
The addition of the Cardinal Health shares did increase my allocation in the healthcare sector. Plus I saw some movements produced through market fluctuations. My current allocation looks like this:
We see the new addition reflected in the current portfolio. Plus all of the reinvested dividends. I will continue to look for good opportunities to add to my portfolio.

A new addition to the portfolio was long overdue. With recent volatility in the market I will be looking for more opportunities to buy some good stocks on sale. I am glad to see such large growth in my year over year comparison. At this rate it could be no time before my second month of the quarter is the biggest income earner.
As always I look forward to reading all of your comments and questions, until then….. happy investing!
