Dividend Increase Effect On More Dividends
I am currently holding 26.379 shares of Southern Company. With this 3.1% increase, it will add $2.11 to my Projected Annual Dividend Income and thats not taking into account the compounding factor!
Southern Company has had a place in this portfolio for many years now. I have no intentions of ever selling the position. I would love to build upon it over time.
This is my only utility company that I own. So while I do not have alot of my portfolio allocated to utilities, I would love to grow this allocation over time.
Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
Do you currently hold any stock in Southern Company? What do you think of this dividend increase? Just let me know in the comments.
As always I look forward to reading all of your comments and questions, until then….. happy investing!
