Dividend Increase Effect On More Dividends

I am currently holding 9.54 shares of Microsoft in the More Dividends portfolio. With this 10.7% increase it will add an additional $2.29 to my projected annual dividend income and this doesn’t even take into account the compounding factor!

Conclusion

Who wouldn’t want to own shares of Microsoft? The company has become one of my larger positions because of the share growth that has happened since I first started this position.

I noticed early on the change in business model from a tried and true company and was able to take advantage of the trend. The company has continued to do great since then and I continue to see a lot of growth in their future.

I will continue to hold this position and see how high that it can climb. A stock split would be an interesting idea for this stock but only time will tell on that.

Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉

Do you currently hold any stock in Microsoft? What do you think of this dividend increase? Just let me know in the comments.

As always I look forward to reading all of your comments and questions, until then….. happy investing!
