Dividend Increase Effect On More Dividends
I am currently holding 37.799 shares of Flowers Foods in the More Dividends portfolio. With this 5% increase it will add an additional $1.51 to my projected annual dividend income and this doesn’t even take into account the compounding factor!
Conclusion
Flowers Foods never seems to disappoint. I originally started this position at a time when a lot of people had doubts about the future of the company because of some legal issues. I thought overall that the company was good so I decided to start the position.
Since that time, the share price has moved above my cost basis but I would love an opportunity to add to this position. I guess until that happens I will continue to trade Dogecoin!
Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
Do you currently hold any stock in Flowers Foods? What do you think of this dividend increase? Just let me know in the comments.
As always I look forward to reading all of your comments and questions, until then….. happy investing!
