Archer Daniels Midland Increased Their Dividend By 2.9%

On January 30th, Archer Daniels Midland announced a dividend increase of 2.9%. This will increase their dividend per quarter from $0.35 to $0.36. It is payable on March 5th for shareholders of record on February 13th. The new quarterly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $1.44 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $1.40 per share.

Dividend Increase Affect On More Dividends

I am currently holding 12.969 shares of Archer Daniels Midland in the More Dividends portfolio. With this 2.9% increase it will add an additional $0.52 to my projected annual dividend income and this doesn’t even take into account the compounding factor!


I have been holding my shares of Archer Daniels Midland for several years now. I have been pleased with the position so far. I wished I had added to the position when the share price was down around my cost basis.

I guess I will have to live and learn. So I am looking forward to another opportunity to add to this position.

Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
