Dividend Increase Effect On More Dividends
I am currently holding 2.054 shares of Apple. With this 5.5% increase, it will add $0.33 to my Projected Annual Dividend Income and thats not taking into account the compounding factor!
Conclusion
The only regret that I have with Apple is that I did not buy more when it was so cheap. Apple is a great company that has a great future. They continue to offer a superior cell phone even as the company grows their service business. I have no intentions to sell the shares and am excited for the day when the share price gets back down around my cost basis.
Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
Do you currently hold any stock in Apple? What do you think of this dividend increase? Just let me know in the comments.
As always I look forward to reading all of your comments and questions, until then….. happy investing!

The increase was a bit disappointing, imho. I expected a 10% increase. The buyback plan is very nice and will be very beneficial in the long term. This company has a long growth path ahead.
I have 22 stocks of AAPL. Will never sell this position. And indeed, I should have bought more.
Thanks for your article.
I agree. I would have expected a bigger increase but I am in it for the long term. So I will just keep holding.
