Dividend Increase Effect On More Dividends
I am currently holding 26.557 shares of Realty Income. With this .2% increase it will add $0.16 to my Projected Annual Dividend Income.
Realty Income will hold a place in my portfolio for a very long time and I don’t mind getting a bunch of small increases along the way. With Realty Income being a monthly dividend paying company these small increases will be able to compound at a slightly faster speed. I would love to be able to add to this position but unfortunately REITs are one of my heavier sectors and the current share price is above my cost basis. If these factors ever changed I would definitely consider adding to my position.
Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
Do you currently hold any stock in Realty Income? What do you think of this dividend increase? Just let me know in the comments.
As always I look forward to reading all of your comments and questions, until then….. happy investing!
