Dividend Increase Affect On More Dividends
I am currently holding 15.722 shares of Coca Cola in the More Dividends portfolio. With this 2.4% increase it will add an additional $0.63 to my projected annual dividend income and this doesn’t even take into account the compounding factor!
Coca Cola is one of the stocks that I originally bought while using the Loyal3 platform. It was acquired several years ago and I moved the stock into a taxable investment account.
Since that time I have allowed the position to reinvest the dividends and to compound over time. I would love to see this position grow but I would need to see the share price come down some before I would be willing to add to it.
The company is superior in the beverage industry. They are leaders in sodas, sports drinks, healthy alternatives and many other spaces. Being this diverse and attune to the needs of their consumers will allow the company to grow for many years to come.
I will continue to hold this position and look forward to these dividend increases every year!
Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
Do you currently hold any stock in Coca Cola? What do you think of this dividend increase? Just let me know in the comments.
As always I look forward to reading all of your comments and questions, until then….. happy investing!
