Coca Cola Increases Their Dividend by 4.8% in 2022 !!!

On February 17th, Coca Cola announced a dividend increase of 4.8%. This will increase their dividend per quarter from $0.42 to $0.44. It is payable on April 1st for shareholders of record on March 14th. The new quarterly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $1.76 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $1.68 per share.

Dividend Increase Effect
I am currently holding 16.337 shares of Coca Cola stock in the More Dividends portfolio. With this 4.8% increase it will add an additional $1.31 to my projected annual dividend income and this doesn’t even take into account the compounding factor!
Current Stock Position
Coca Cola has definitely been a steady grower for me. It was one of my first positions but unfortunately since then I haven’t really had anymore buying opportunities. I would love to see the share price drop below my cost basis so that I could add to this position.
The company has been around for lifetimes and isn’t going anywhere during mine. The company has been increasing their dividend for 60 years and has been steadily paying it for a lot longer than that. I don’t know about you but that is the kind of streaks that I like. Owning Coca Cola in my portfolio definitely helps me sleep very comfortable at night!
Regardless of how large or small, I love all dividend increases. That is how we end up with More Dividends 😉
